Non-thrombotic iliac vein lesion live case: The “ins” and “outs” of treating deep venous disease

Dr. Nicos Labropoulos begins this session with an interactive discussion on the patterns of chronic venous obstruction. Dr. Antonios Gasparis introduces the live patient by presenting the history and physical and pre-procedural imaging. Dr. Steve Elias performs the live case which features the treatment of a non-thrombotic iliac vein lesion. Listen in as the faculty share their treatment strategies during the case. Lastly, Dr. Paul Gagne provides an update on the IGuideU study.

  • Identify why patient selection is important in the treatment of deep venous disease
  • Help in the management and treatment of patients with both superficial and deep venous disease
  • Explain why IVUS plays a role in the diagnosis and treatment of deep venous disease
  • Review best practices in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with deep venous disease
