Dr Kevin J. Croce is an Interventional Cardiologist and the Director of the CTO & Complex PCI Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and also directs the BWH Translational Discovery Laboratory, which is a centralized research facility that uses state-of-the-art technology to perform pre-clinical testing of promising therapies and medical devices.
In this presentation, Dr. Croce will discuss the basic mechanisms of laser atherectomy, the benefits of this treatment in a variety of complex cases along with the importance of imaging guidance during these procedures. He will share some case examples from his practice and the decision algorithms he has developed in treating complex disease.
