Dr. Timothy Yates a a native of Nebraska who pursued his love of music and language in undergrad–even spending the majority of his senior year at the University of Málaga, Spain, where he became fluent in Spanish language and interpretation (and where he also studied classical and flamenco guitar!). He then completed a postbaccalaureate premedical program at John Hopkins University before going on to get his medical degree back in his home state. From there, he continued his training in South Florida, where he now practices as an interventional radiologist that specializes in critical limb ischemia and limb salvage. He also focuses on the management of deep vein thrombosis and interventional oncology for the management of hepatic tumors.
Dr. Yates is active in medical societies through talks and social media, and greatly advocates the use of these platforms for improving medical education. In his free time, he enjoys photography and even owns a studio with his brother. He’s also the proud father of three beautiful girls and a husband to his wife, Erika.
