    Joel Rainwater, MD

Interventional Radiology, Interventional Oncology & Vascular Intervention

    Joel Rainwater, MD

Joel Rainwater, MD is a board certified interventional radiologist with more than 21 years of experience including owning and developing outpatient-based medical practices. Dr. Rainwater is the founder of Comprehensive Integrated Care (CiC) and he serves as chief medical officer for the offices in Arizona, Utah, and Oregon.

After receiving his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Rainwater completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and served as chief resident at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. He completed his fellowship in interventional vascular radiology prior to joining the interventional radiologist team at Associated Radiologists in Mesa, AZ.

Dr. Rainwater explains that “One of the deadliest complications of cancer is when it spreads to the liver. When the liver has tumors, a transplant is almost never an option.” The procedure offered by Comprehensive Integrated Care allows the team of interventional radiologists to treat these tumors and help patients live a longer, pain-free life.” His areas of specialty include peripheral vascular disease and interventional oncology.

In addition to receiving multi year Phoenix Magazine Top Doctors award, Dr. Rainwater is also the recipient of the On-Time Doctor Award, Patient’s Choice Award, and Compassionate Doctor Recognition.
